Objective

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Understand basic concept of scheduled waste management and its classification
• Understand the legal requirements in Environmental Act 1974 & Scheduled Waste Regulations 2005
• Understand the legal requirement in the operation of the sludge treatment/disposal plant and how to operate the plant according to the DOE’s Regulations & Technical Guidelines
• Know how to manage the waste sludge including special management
• Know how to do packaging, labelling and storage of scheduled waste according to the DOE Guidelines
• Know how to do inventory, monthly report, e-consignment and delivery according to the DOE Regulations & procedures
