MWA has been supporting the WWMD since 2005 and the participation was very encouraging where there is a growing concern of clean water quality in our rivers. This programme has been organised in association with several states water operators, private companies and universities in the past. Schools from the respective states were invited to carry out the monitoring activities.

This year, MWA with Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) will conduct the WWMD 2011 in October.
